ETIMER (增强型定时器)
简介
增强型定时器 (ETIMER) 是一个 32 位定时器,支持定时中断和单次定时。增强型定时器 (ETIMER) 包含 14 个独立的通道 (ETIMER_Core),每个通道包含一个32 位自动重载递增时基计数器 (内部 PWM 和 CAP 共用该计数器),该计数器由可编程的 6 位预分频器驱动。同时支持 14 路通用 PWM 功能和 14 路通用 CAP 功能,且均可以独立配置。
所有通道之间彼此独立,不共享任何资源,并且所有通道具有相同的功能 (一路 PWM功能和一路 CAP 功能)。
该定时器可用于多种用途,包括最基本的定时功能 (基础计时),测量输入信号 (输入捕获),生成输出 PWM 波形 (输出比较)。

功能分解
将ETIMER 根据功能分成两个大部分进行使用TIMER模块和CAP模块,针对使用进行细分包含:PWM输出、PWM互补输出、CAP输入捕获功能、Fault关断保护、DAC/ACMP Trigger(EVENT事件)、Sync同步
PWM输出
- PWM常规输出占空比和周期可调,可配置周期和比较值;
关于周期值、比较值、事件值的更新分为立即加载模式和影子加载模式:
立即加载模式:配置时直接写到活动寄存器直接生效,此时可能会出现更新事件不确定,导致输出波形存在异常的问题,出现炸管、短路等事故。
影子加载模式:在特定设置事件时间点时将写入到影子寄存器的值更新到活动寄存器,此时可以保证输出波形不出现异常。
- PWM发波支持COMPA和COMPA+COMPB模式 ETIMER_CompareMode ;
COMPA模式下:timer_cnt<COMPA,PWM输出1,否则输出0;
COMPA+COMPB模式:COMPB>timer_cnt>COMPA,PWM输出1,否则输出0;
备注
在COMPA+COMPB模式下,关于COMPA、COMPB的寄存器配置值需要注意COMPB>COMMPA; 如果出现COMPA≥COMPB的配置情况下会产生错误告警并有对应中断信号;
DB互补输出
可通过DB模块进行互补输出,14组ETIMER通道依次按顺序分别两两配对组合发波:0和1、2和3、4和5、6和7、8和9、10和11、12和13;
互补输出的死区时间配置和死区输出模式组合可编程;
备注
ETIMER的DB模块与SRPWM模块共用;
警告
DB输出在常规配置后会在最初会出现一个几十ns左右的非预期脉冲输出,该问题可以通过软件解决,将DB模块的初始化配置放在ETIMER使能之后,但是这样会导致输出在时钟使能和死区初始化之间输出不为互补波形;该方式仅提供一个选择;
CAP功能
包含 14 组CAP捕获功能;
捕获时钟预分频功能,是针对捕获采样事件进行分频;捕获时钟分频不是对捕获的时钟个数进行分频,而是对捕获输入事件的检测进行分频;
每组CAP包含若干个捕获事件源 ETIMER_CaptureInputSrc ,捕获事件触发信号边沿可选(上升沿、下降沿) ETIMER_CaptureType ;
CAP捕获触发支持one-shot和continues两种模式;
支持对输入捕获信号进行数字滤波处理;
捕获数据可以通过CAP事件中断进行读取和DMA进行读取;
备注
ETIMER总共4组DMA通道 ETIMER_DMAChannel ,每组DMA通道事件源选择包含 56 个事件源 ETIMER_DMARequest ;
每组CAP包含四个捕获事件CEVT0、CEVT1、CEVT2、CEVT3;每次最多可以配置四个时间戳事件中单次模式运行,也可以在连续模式下运行捕获最多四个作为循环缓冲器运行的时间戳事件;每个捕获事件分别控制,每个事件可产生对应中断信号;
捕获模式下,时基计数器可在绝对模式或差分模式下运行;在绝对模式下,计数器会按设置周期值连续运行;在差分模式下,计数器在每次捕获事件发生时复位。
CAP应用举例
绝对时间戳操作(上升沿触发)。
绝对时间戳模式下,时间戳计数器(CTR)持续向上计数,不清零。
当捕获事件触发时:
首先会将当前时间戳计数器(CTR)的数值(即时间戳)保存到捕获寄存器中;
随后状态计数器(Mod4)会自动加 1,切换到下一个状态。
当时间戳计数器(CTR)计满到最大值 FFFFFFFF 时,状态计数器(Mod4)会自动归零,同时会置位计数器溢出标志位(CTROVF)。
绝对时间戳操作(上升沿和下降沿触发)。
使用上升沿和下降沿触发,可以同时获取周期和占空比信息:
周期1 = t3 - t1;周期2 = t5 - t3; 以此类推。
占空比1 = (t2-t1) / 周期1 * 100%;以此类推。
相对时间戳操作(上升沿触发)
相对时间戳模式下,时间戳计数器(CTR)持续向上计数,捕获到事件后,将时间戳计数器清零。 相对时间戳操作模式的有点在于,CAPx 捕获寄存器里的数值直接就是时间数据,不需要 CPU 再做任何减法计算。(周期1 = t1, 周期2 = t2)
当捕获事件触发时:
时间戳计数器(CTR)先被保存到捕获寄存器中,然后被重置为0;
随后状态计数器(Mod4)会自动加 1,切换到下一个状态。
当时间戳计数器(CTR)计满到最大值 FFFFFFFF 时,状态计数器(Mod4)会自动归零,同时会置位计数器溢出标志位(CTROVF)。
相对时间戳操作(上升沿和下降沿触发)
该操作与 “相对时间戳操作(上升沿触发)” 基本一致,只是捕获事件设置为了上升沿和下降沿。该操作直接提供了每个周期中高电平和低电平的持续时间。
周期1 = t1 + t2; 周期2 = t3 + t4; 以此类推。
占空比1 = t1/ 周期1 * 100%; 占空比2 = t3/ 周期2 * 100%; 以此类推。
Fault保护
Fault封波模式支持两种模式:CBC模式、one-shot模式;
备注
CBC模式:在fault信号效期内,ETIMER的输出为fault模式下的配置电平,并在fault信号无效后的下一计数周期,ETIMER的输出恢复正常。 one-shot模式:在fault有效期内,ETIMER的输出为fault模式下的配置电平,在fault失效后,ETIMER输出仍处于fault模式下的配置状态,只有在fault无效电平期间通过软件清除 ETIMER_clearFault fault信号后,ETIMER输出恢复正常。
Fault模式下输出极性状态可配;
Fault信号源来自软件触发信号和XBAR信号;
Fault在不同的模式下都可产生对应的中断进行指示;
DAC/ACMP Trigger(EVENT事件)
每组ETIMER通道中的EVENT事件时间点可编程;
ETIMER的事件触发源为整体事件,集合每个通道的EVENT事件源作为事件选择 ETIMER_OutputEvent ;
备注
输出事件可用于作为ADC触发事件,具体选择哪个ETIMER的事件在ADC中选择;
事件作为DAC模块中选取ETIMER作为事件源时有效,DAC模块主要包含在两个独立的BDAC,和8个CDAC(4组ACMP,每组2个DAC模块);具体选择哪个ETIMER通道事件进行配置;
